A long journey

Despite being on the Vietnamese photography scene for only six years, Khanh Phan has already amassed a significant collection of domestic and international awards. She has traveled the length and breadth of Vietnam, capturing unique and authentic images of the country and its people. Khanh Phan spoke to Heritage Magazine about her passion for photography.

An undying passion

Entranced by the colorful dress of ethnic Yao people (Dao in Vietnamese) during a trip to Mount Mau Son, Son Tung fell in love with photography. Five years after that first fateful encounter, Mr. Tung remains devoted to studying the Yao and to photographing the customs and cultural practices of one of the most remarkable ethnic minorities in Vietnam.
